Jan the Horse

Jan the Horse
€55.00

Jan grows pumpkins and looks after anyone smaller than himself. This includes most of the farm.

He is big, strong, and gentle enough to let a pigeon fall asleep on his shoulder. He lifts the heavy things, checks that everyone is home before dark, and always leaves room beside him.

A good companion for anyone who carries a lot and could use someone steady on their side.

🌿 Why you want him:

  • for his big heart and quietly reassuring presence;

  • as a talisman for kindness, courage, and standing up for the small;

  • to remind yourself that you deserve to be looked after, too.

🌿 Details:

  • handknitted from wool;

  • filled with hollow fibre stuffing;

  • plastic eyes with safety fastenings;

  • dressed in an autumn-coloured hand-dyed sweater with a little bee brooch;

  • yellow trousers decorated with hand embroidery;

  • height: approx. 20 cm;

  • every piece is one of a kind — each Jan will have his own small differences.

🌿 Character: Strong enough to protect you. Kind enough to ask what you need.
